A Daily Planner
If you know me personally, you would know that I’m ridiculously Type-A. I like to schedule EVERYTHING (errands, workouts, blog posts) so a daily planner is a must-have item for me. In years past, I’ve typically bought my planners from Amazon or Target, and they work just fine, but for 2019 I wanted to invest in something a little more detailed, with more daily breakdown pages, such as the Erin Condren life planner. However, I just can’t justify spending $50+ dollars on a planner, even if it is fully customizable, and has my name on it. When Justin & I were shopping at Michael’s recently for our shadowbox supplies, I decided to go ahead and pick up this one, since it was on sale and I had a coupon on top of that. At about $14, this was a steal! They had so many cute cover styles to choose from, but I decided on the stripes & floral. I also picked up some stickers to customize it, like these fitness ones for scheduling workouts!
Wearables
Over the last few weeks, I have dedicated much of my time at home to going through my closets and sorting through clothes. I got rid of things I don’t wear, or don’t fit me well, to make room for some new things. Fall & Winter clothes are my favorites!
I love a good layering piece, and these luxe shirts take the cake. Great alone, or under a chunky sweater for extra warmth.
I’ve been on the hunt for a cozy sherpa hoodie, and landed across this one from Victoria’s Secret. It’s a tad oversized, which I love, and so, so soft!
I typically invest in a new pair of boots every year, because I wear the shizzzz out of them. My riding boots from last year are still going strong, so I opted for this heeled pair from Macy’s. I bought them both in black and brown, since I couldn’t decide, and I had a gift card leftover from my birthday to burn up! They fit well, and give the illusion that I am not 5’1″. 🙂
Beauty & Skincare
I tossed this aloe facial mist in my Target cart as soon as I saw it. I love the Mario Badescu mists, but these are great to switch things up.
I’ve fallen back in love with this old fave moisturizer. L’Oreal just does not disappoint, ya’ll. Water-type moisturizers are a must-have for my oily skin.
This mascara came in a subscription box (but still technically a recent purchase!) and it’s THE BOMB. Something about it is just so good! It separates, lengthens, volumizes, and doesn’t flake off all over my face. I’m so sad that my sample-size is almost gone, and totally avoiding the $20 price tag of the full size. Anyone know any dupes?
