Lately I’ve been trying to focus more on my health & wellness, and one of the biggest motivators for me, as silly as it sounds, is new workout gear!
I’m always shopping for quality pieces at budget prices. So today, I’m sharing my 3 go-to stores/sites for affordable workout wear, and a few of my favorite items from each. It’s totally doable to find gym clothes at a lower price point that offer support, soak up the sweat, AND keep you looking somewhat cute!
Fabletics
After hearing so many people talk about it, I finally took the plunge and tried Fabletics about a year ago (May 2020). The leggings are SOOOO BUTTERY SOFT, moisture-wicking, high-waisted, and hold everything in…if you know what I mean. They also have pockets on the sides that fit my phone perfectly if I’m out on a walk. As a bonus- they seem to repel pet hair! My favorite leggings are the Oasis Capri, and by now I think I have 4 pair of them. The only con is that they should be hung dry.
This month I got the Trinity Performance Jacket and it’s the freaking cutest jacket ever! It’s the perfect weight for cooler walks, or just to throw on to and from the gym.
Fabletics offers a VIP Monthly Membership, where you can get a new outfit every month–or skip if choose to. If you become a VIP (like me!), you’ll save up to 50% off retail prices every time you shop, and you’ll get access to exclusive VIP-only perks. They also hook you up with an incredible intro offer for your first purchase!

Old Navy
Don’t sleep on Old Navy’s activewear! They have some really awesome pieces for super affordable prices. I have collected a few of these Tie-Back Performance tanks over the years because they are breezy and fit me in a flattering way. I love the little peep hole in the back paired with a strappy sports bra.
While they may not be as buttery soft as Fabletics, Old Navy’s leggings have withstood the test of time for me. I honestly have had a few pairs for – no joke, 7 YEARS – that just recently have started to wear down and become see-through in spots. But again, that’s over 7 years worth of wear & washing! You can’t beat their prices, either. They’re almost always running a sale!
TJ Maxx
While it can be a little hit or miss at times, TJ Maxx normally has a great selection of activewear. I particularly like the brand RBX. Their leggings and sports bras hold up well, and their pieces range from $10-20. A steal, in my opinion!
Honorable mentions
If you don’t mind buying secondhand, ThredUp is amazing! They have tons of previously-loved, name brand pieces at a fraction of the retail price. I used to love Target’s (Champion) C9 collection of sports bras, which they’ve since discontinued. Victoria’s Secret does, too, but at a much higher price point than they once were.
