Loving Lately, Vol. 6

Loving Lately (1)

Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis – This is hands-down, the most inspiring, and eye-opening book I’ve ever read.  Author, blogger & entrepreneur Rachel Hollis talks us through “lies” we believe about ourselves and exactly how to overcome them.

Book CoverEvery woman should read this book at some point in her life. Whether you’re a woman who’s feeling like a “bad mom” trying to juggle parenting and work life, or the woman who feels behind because she isn’t married and a mother of 2 yet, there’s a takeaway for everyone.  Hollis is down-to-earth, sharing embarrassing truths of her life to help us  accept and grow from our own.

Pineapple Coconut Spark –  “If you like pina coladas…” you’ll love this! I am not a coffee drinker, but this girl needs her caffeine fix in the morning in order to function.  The Pineapple Coconut flavor has been limited edition the past two or three years,  and developed a huge fan base. It’s back again this year for limited time, but I’m hoping they make it part of the regular lineup soon!  I also just ordered the new Slam Variety Pack which is CLUTCH for those super, super sleepy days when a Spark just won’t cut it.

Shows worthy of a Netflix Binge:  The Staircase and Evil Genius.  If you watched Making a Murderer, or you just enjoy murder documentaries/unsolved mysteries – these are for you.  Justin and I finished both of these series, and each had us on the edge of our seats the entire time.

A couple makeup products I’ve been loving lately are this Lash Princess Mascara  (so good, and so cheap!), the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Powder (feels light on the skin, great coverage, and it fights acne at the same time!), and this POP Brow Pencil & this Smashbox concealer – both were in my Ipsy bag this month. Score!

What are your current faves of summer? I’d love to hear about them!
