Happy November 1st and welcome to my blog!
Allow me to introduce today’s very first “What I’m Loving Wednesday” where I tell you a few of my current favorite things. In no particular order, no particular genre, just things I’m loving and feel that I should share with the world. These items may range from food, to fashion, to people, places, or things – whatever I’m feeling.
1.) Starbucks Hazelnut Hot Chocolate
a) Okay okay, I know this qualifies me as #basic, but I have ZERO SHAME in my Ugg-wearing, Starbucks-sipping game.
b) HOW have I never heard of this before? If you live under a rock like I apparently have for 29 years, imagine a giant scoop of Nutella melted and topped with whipped cream. It’s GAME CHANGER of the traditional hot chocolate world. This deliciously sugar-y totally does not fit into the healthy category, but – YOLO.
Upon further research, Starbucks also has a Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, which I’ll be trying next if I can ever convince myself to stray away from the Hazelnut.
2.) Cyclebar
If you know me personally, this is not a new favorite (and I’ve gotta burn off that hazelnut hot choc somehow, amirite?!) I’ve been OBSESSED with taking Cyclebar classes since March of 2017. Taking 1-2 classes per week has helped me slim down for my wedding, and boost my self confidence. Cyclebar, for those unfamiliar, is indoor cycling to the beat of the music. It’s the ultimate sweat sesh that will push you to your limits while you jam to your favorite tunes in a dimly lit studio. The experience is intense and competitive (only if you want it to be!), with a little choreography mixed in. I won’t lie to you, if you’ve never done Cyclebar before, it is tough. The first couple classes you will literally feel like you’re dying and your butt cheeks (or, “sit bones,” if you will) are going to fall off, but I promise you that all goes away, and you’ll improve with every ride.
