As a self-proclaimed beauty product junkie, I enjoy trying new products frequently. One inexpensive way to do that is through subscription boxes. I subscribe to several of them, and they truly light up my day when they arrive in my mailbox.
Here’s a few of my favorite things from this month that I found worth mentioning!
I’m a sucker for skincare, and this month’s Birchbox did not disappoint! I loved using this Murad cleanser at night to get my face squeaky clean – and bonus! It fights acne at the same time. This Sand & Sky mask was really great as well, and perfect for oily-skinned gals like myself. I used it once all over my face, and then as a spot treatment the rest, since the sample is small and I wanted to conserve it!

This month my bag was just “meh.” It came with a mascara, a nail polish, and a leave-in hair conditioner that were all okay, but definitely not blog-about worthy. The one exception, though, is this Buxom Lip Gloss! “Dolly” is the perfect nudish-pink shade for me, with a teensy bit of shimmer, and it has that tingly, plumping feeling when applied. Since the first time I tried it, it’s gained a spot in my purse for everyday use. This is one product I can confidently say that I will purchase the full-size when the sample runs out.
I LOVE the quarterly subscription box, FabFitFun because the products are always full-size, and they offer home and lifestyle goods as well, as opposed to strictly beauty products. All of the items in the Fall box were really great, but I’m only going to mention my top favorites. This teapot is totes adorbs, and I’ve used it a bunch of times already! It perfectly fits one (large) cup of tea. Plus, it looks super cute displayed in our kitchen – as do these towels! I was excited to finally have a working umbrella for my car (who else totes around at least 3 broken umbrellas?), and I really loved this super-sudsy shower gel, too!
