Rainbow Baby Shower with Friends

Baby Morgan & I were showered with so much love yesterday. A million Thank You’s are owed to my friends Nikki, Brittany, and Ashley for throwing the most perfect rainbow shower for our rainbow girl. 🌈

Thank you also to everyone who came and for your generosity.  She is certainly one loved (and maybe a teensy bit spoiled😜) girl!! 🥰

The decor was SO cute!

 

Baby girl was showered with lots of gifts! Tons of clothes – some Reds attire (since she is due on Opening Day!), even a USWNT onesie, various items from our registry, and of course, many rainbow items. I loved that everyone brought a book instead of a card, and most wrote sweet notes inside too. That way, whenever we read a book to her we can tell her who it’s from!

My mom had this blanket and pillow made for Morgan, and I absolutely love it! It’s fleece with silky trim, and it’s big enough to keep both mama and baby girl warm.

Unfortunately, a few people had already left by this point, but at the very end of the shower I wanted to thank everyone individually and get photos of the two of us together.  (Making a mental note to do this at next week’s shower as well!)

THANK YOU AGAIN, Nikki, Brittany & Ashley for hosting, and to all of our wonderful friends who came! Baby Morgan has some awesome honorary aunties! 😉

After all of the loss and heartache Justin & I have been through, it truly feels like a dream to finally be becoming parents, and celebrating our miracle. 💗 🙏 We are simply overwhelmed by your love and support. 

Now, if you’ll excuse me, we have a mess of baby gifts scattered throughout our living room and kitchen that all need to be washed and put away… 😉
